The Kalmyks (Buddhist) Brotherhood Society of America is honored to announce a public talk by His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama, on the topic of Buddhism in the 21st Century, on July 16th at 12:30 pm at Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso is recognized by his followers as both the head of state and the spiritual leader of Tibet. In 1989 he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his commitment to a non-violent struggle for peace in Tibet.

Sean Tchourumoff, President of the Kalmyks (Buddhist) Brotherhood Society of America, notes:

The Kalmyks are ethnic Mongolians whose history and religious traditions have been closely intertwined with Tibetan Buddhism and the Dalai Lama for over 500 years. The Kalmyks originally settled in the greater Philadelphia region just after World War II and more recently, during the post cold war era of the 1990’s.

We welcome His Holiness to share with us his message of compassion, love and wisdom.

==========

Hi all, my good friend Peggy has a real small kennel.  They raise champion Jack Russel Terriers for agility competition.  A couple who took 2 of their dogs, i think they're 2 and 3 yrs old, but gave them back because they want to travel and the dogs are 'inconvenient"  If you know anyone interested let me know and I'll send the photos but they're big and I don't to burden your e-mail if you're not interested.

.  They are both fixed and all their shots are up to date.  According to their former owners they are wonderful with kids, ok with other dogs when there is the two of them.  Both dogs sleep and eat together in one crate, so if someone knows of anyone that can take two that would be a perfect world.  They are active so they will need either a fenced in yard or lots of walks, but they are super SWEET and very friendly.

Bruce and I have them at our home now, so if someone would like to see them, we would be available.  People can call Peggy  at 215-237-1166 or Bruce's 215-327-0522.  thanks everyone for your help.
